Summer Day Camps
Fun In The Sun With Horses!

Spruce Ridge is once again running its popular summer camps. Each week provides a safe opportunity for riders to have fun, learn and make new friends. Each camp is full of horsy and fun activities including two riding lessons per day and hands on experience taking care of horses and ponies. And, at the end of the week, there is a fun riding demonstration to show parents and friends what has been learnt. During the week, riders' work on creating a memento to take home so that the fun they had can be remembered.

These camps are a perfect opportunity for people who have never ridden as the extended exposure enhances confidence and learning.

The day is from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Early drop off and late pickup times can be arranged. Bring long pants and a boot/shoe with a definite square heel for riding but shorts and running shoes can be worn at other times. Approved ASTM riding helmets must be worn and can be rented for $10.00 per week.

Bring lunches, snacks, juice and sunscreen/hats.

The cost for the riding camps, less the one with Martha, is $175.00 for the first child and $150.00 for each additional child of the same family. The camp with Martha is $150.00.

To register, send two cheques, a $50.00 non-refundable deposit dated immediately and a cheque for the remainder dated one week prior to the start of the camp. Register early, as enrollment is limited to ensure safety and fun.

- July 28th-Aug 1st - Beginner and Intermediate camp

- August 11th-15th - Beginner and Intermediate camp
- August 18th-22nd - Beginner and Intermediate camp
- August 25th-29th - Beginner and Intermediate camp
